Wonder where Hall will go not many comparable multi programs? A few triple jump coaching options for the others...Florida, Texas Tech, etc

Why not Texas? Texas have some of the best jumpers in the country. Tara Davis ranked #1 LJ, Steffin McCarter #1 in LJ, and O'Brien Wasome #1 TJ in the NCAA. How did you ignore the University of Texas?

Are you new to the collegiate track and field? Texas is not the only D1 University with resources! And again, do you expect Floreal to win a NCAA championship within 2 years of his athletes able to compete at Texas? And nobody cares about 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th place finishes in track and field. LOL
Either you've won many NCAA championship titles or not!
Lastly, Texas has WON far more NCAA and conference championships than UGA. Go back to bed!
Correction Texas has won more Women’s titles. Their men’s teams have never been in contention and are overrated.

Gittens turns pro and Hall assumes her scholarship slot.
Goes after the Gittens school record and receives a cool gold ring upon graduation.
Or...Hall becomes a pro as well if the money is right. Very nice facilities at tamu.
Overrated? Ha! What a joke! Texas Men's team will be a factor in the NCAA's. I do understand one of the best shot putter in the NCAA is currently injured but again the men's team is not the team to discredited. Next Case...

In the past 20 years, the Texas men's team have been one of the more underachieved programs in the NCAA. There have been athletes that have achieved the highest levels of success, but as a team, have not accomplished much. I don't think that will be the case moving forward, but we'll see.
Agreed. But there is a new "sheriff in town."

Any more news, this is a big one.
Also, it's not just Texas Track, especially on the men's side. There was a time when the TEXAS Athletic Dept was the first and only D-I with a 100 million dollar operating budget and were the largest by a long way, and the only sport winning was Bev's track teams. All the other sports were weak and soft and they made a big deal out of Ricky Williams or the BBall team getting 20 wins in a season? That is piss poor for a program that seemed to have more money than God, with access to plenty more.
I remember our Athletic Department announcing at this same time that they had cracked the 7 million dollar threshold for the first time through aggressive and creative fundraising efforts and they were over the moon about it. It took many, many years for our Athletic Dept. to broach the 20 million mark. During this time, our Football was ranked higher, our BBall made the tourney more times, and our Track team cracked the Top 25 at nats, over Texas. Let's not even mention how often a much smaller school in the Ozarks kicked their teeth in when they were both in the SWC. So for many on here, its a wait and see, Texas men's sports all around have been soft for the past 50 years when you consider the advantages.
Any updates?
So what will Caryl’s staff at Georgia look like? Does she keep Babbit?
Althea Thomas will be the next head coach for UGA.
Let me enlighten all of you. He WAS caught doping kids and got caught. That is illegal and he should not be coaching anymore. Kids may or may not have known - that is to be seen.

Caught by who? Did any of the athletes test positive? If you're going to go so far as to say what you have, you might as well give some details. If this is indeed the case, this is a very very big deal.
I know some folks might have a bone to pick with him over his way of doing things and his antics, but I can assure you he is not doping or promoting this type of activity with his kids. Number one I don't think he would even have a clue how to do that chemically. Sounds like someone is twisting stories to fit their narrative.
Petros is leaving Georgia on his own. This is ridiculous.. some people are trying to throw mud at one of the best coaches out there. He is against this sort of activity and if you know him you would know. He can flat out coach any event at a very high level. This is so bad when people talk like this about someone that is leaving on his own term a program he built from ashes and seems he’s preparing his successor. Shane on you. If you are so smart this kind of news would be all over and he would have been terminated immediately. Yet he’s there coaching until his contract is up in June. Winners tend to have haters and this one is vicious.
Petros not knowing how to dope? Give me a break! Ever hear of bodybuilding.com? Where were they located? Who else worked closely with them?
Petros came straight out of the East German coaching tree.
Now you are funny!! Quit your trolling and go workout or learn how to coach lol.

Wouldn't Davis have spilled the beans, dropped the dime, ratted him out, when she transferred to Texas?
That was a rock throwing, antifa-like breakup. She certainly didn't improve at UGA.
