I have 5k track race this weekend and I’m trying to break 17 minutes for the first time. Both shoes have been worn a few times and they both feel good. I’m just wondering which I should go with.

Dragonfly
Which shoes do you run fastest in?
I broke 17 for the first time running in the next %. I probably would’ve ran faster with spikes. The turns on the track aren’t that great in my experience. That’s the first time I wore them in a race so I still need to get used to them. I had the feeling that I was going to roll my ankle on the turns.
However, my legs weren’t that beat up. That’s the bright side & I stayed on my forefoot the entire time.

dragonfly. zero question.
I don’t know. I recently ran at mile pace in Alphaflys - not even vaporflies - and they felt completely fine on the turns (80s / 500). I think Vaporflies are better if you want the race to be more like a time trial, while Dragonflies will allow a better kick
