I’m 25, no running background except for that season of indoor track in high school where I could only hit a 61s 400m.
I picked up “distance running” for a few months in 2018 and then started again at the beginning of quarantine. Mostly intrigued by the ultra scene, I worked my way up to 100-mile weeks with an average pace around 8:25 a mile.
My PBs are super slow and I would really like to put together some decent numbers for the 10k-half, but I’m not sure how to turn the corner from running as far as I can to running as fast as I can.
Any tips for workouts/mileage?
