Plus Mick Stanovsek of UWashington
should be a good opener, I'd say around 3:40 for the win

Grijalva in the 800 too? Wonder if he will actually run it.
Definitely interested to see how Young does. This might be a crossroads between him choosing to run the 5000 and him choosing to focus on the 10000. What are the odds he goes sub 3:42?
Grijalva a DNS for the 800.
Grijalva ftw in 3:39, Ortiz 3:42, Nur 3:43, Young 3:44.
45.34 first 300/56.72 last 400 for Grijalva—pretty solid. His 3:39.02 took away Adam Goucher’s facility record.
I assume Grijalva will run the 5000 -- pretty good wheels for a 5000 runner at the NCAA level.
Not quite as good as Teare/Hocker though. If all 3 of them race (and maybe Kiptoo as well?) that would be insane!

I doubt Hocker runs the 5000 unless he really doesn’t wanna run the Trials. Kiptoo and Kurgat will, I assume.s
Grijalva beat Teare in the last 5000 they raced.

Uhhhh Grijalva has already scalped Teare in the 5k this year. Hocker hasn't really raced an all out 5k yet, so we'll see.
I wouldn't count Grijalva out winning the NCAA 5k this year.
Also that NAU squad is DEEP. 10 guys in a row on that 1500!
