Don't run there. Just don't. I ran on everything - cement, asphalt, packed dirt, steel plates on a cruise ship, you name it - and after decades there was no cartilage left. Total knee replacement followed. Plus, if you run on concrete your legs are going to take longer to recover. -

See if you can find a nike LT4 on Ebay or something. It's light and fast and doest have spikes. They also have the ones with spikes in them on running warehouse
