PS: I am also of the opinion that the police officer caused the death of Mr. Floyd. But this poster goes to far every single day.

George floyd was a big crybaby drug addict who killed himself, and also happened to make a big scene while doing so. Notice the other people in the car simply accepted the outcome and went with police.

Did they even end up getting any citations? Yeah, the brutal Minneapolis PD really worked over the other two who actually listened and complied. Such a simple concept!

George panicked because he did not want to go back to jail. He may have legitimately not known that the bill he spent was counterfeit. the wrist locks which were used on him while moving him towards the cop car intitially, and the manner in which the handcuffs were applied gave george additional reason to panic. George wasnt able to get his mind together enough to listen and relax. Georges reaction put a degree of panic into the responding officers. I would guess that, in order to avoid this sort of situation, it would be useful to be able to catch him but step back and let him calm down before interacting. handcuffs would be the wrong restraint since if the suspect panics in handcuffs they could hurt themselves pretty badly. But once floyd said- ~oh sh*t i dont want to go back to jail, his emotional response was strong enough that he couldnt just be a;;pwed to drive off or wander off... how should he have been restrained until he could calm down enough to communicate..... given- comply now... is less important than- we need an emotional de-escalation.
