The principle in law is that you take your victim as you find him. Floyd's frailties and weakened condition will not exonerate Chauvin if his actions contributed to Floyd's death.
As you know through any conversations on LR were racial destinations exists, an argument could be made that the problem with most of these commenters is not they are hell bent on making it about drugs or a victim’s short comings. The problem is they can’t place themselves in the victim’s shoes because most (if not all of them) can’t see things they the lens of a non white. This is why the rally cry is always race has nothing to do with it. Do you think most these numbnuts have black friends (one that claims them as a friend also)? Absolutely not! Do you really think they see a potential father, mother, uncle, aunt, sister, brother, or cousin when the face is black or brown? Heck no! They see an other and make excuses for it...because it’s been that way! It is in the American fabric called it’s culture!!
Think of it like this (I always find this telling). They are quick to tell you something isn’t about race and/or that race has nothing to do with something. Yet their knee jerk reaction and counter example is some occurrence where they feel the same thing is happening to a white person. If it was never about race their go to should be a situation were the same thing happens to a black person but THE OUTCOME is different!
