Title says all. I want good spikes, but don't want to spend $150-180 on the new ones. I can get Mambas for 90, victory's for about the same.
Mamba V or Victory 3 for 800-1600 runner?

it really depends on your preference, either will do nicely. The victory is stiffer both in the upper and plate. The mamba is lighter with a sleeker, more comfortable upper. If you like the feeling of a spike disappearing on your feet, go with the mamba. For a bit more underfoot and more stiffness go with victorys.

Okay, I think I'll go with the mamba. They're on sale on nike.com. Any other spikes I should consider for 800-1600? (dragonfly's too expensive)
