Spectators allowed at the Trials

Sure, coaches, VIPs, etc. No decision on if or how many of us regular folks will be allowed in. I am sure if the meet is closed off to the public, family, sponsors, VIPs will be allowed. Leave it to USATF to wait unti the last moment and fup anything they can. Ultimately it's up to the State of Oregon to decide. Considering they are making HS runners compete wearing facemasks, I am not optimistic.

I'm all for moving the trials to a free state. NCAA meet as well. I would travel anywhere and support the athletes but having it at Hayward Field as a private party isn't going to gain any new interest for the sport.

When is this

Pretty Simple; Some states are open and allow fans and gatherings. Those states have GOP governors.

Other states are run by left wing WOKE Governors. Think Oregon, California and Washington.

These states are totally shut down. No School in session, No out door events, just crime and homelessness and people moving out.

Oregon's governor is as far left as you can get. This is why Portland has been destroyed with crime, Antifa and homelessness people sleeping on every street corner. People cannot leave fast enough. There will be no fans at USAFT in Hayward. The progressives do no think it's safe....They will tell you when you can leave your basement!
