No, but only because I sometimes I root against the team getting the most hype. Seems like a good coach and program.
Wow, glad the LAPD was able to make the announcement of excessive speed. Next they'll be telling us that water is wet, poop stinks, and the sun rises in the East.

I'll agree that OJ and Cosby are proven to be far worse people than Tiger, but that's because comparatively little is known about Tiger's personal life. Though what we do know isn't pretty, between his addiction issue and subsequent disregard for the safety of others on the road and his penchant for rampantly cheating on his relationships. His own kids probably see him as little more than an ATM given how he treated their mother. He sure as hell isn't a great guy.
Too bad he wasn't married 3 times, accused of sexual assault by multiple women and that he didn't admit to grabbing lots of women by the p*ssy. Then he could have run for president and lots of people would've voted for him and followed him to the end of the earth!
Has there been any conformation that he has or will be ticketed?
Looks like another case of white privilege!
Then again... that may be the last time Tiger is driving with a realistic chance to get to 83.

Tiger is a tragic figure. He was good in one thing and he is pretty bad in a couple of others.
That's true of many people:
John McEnroe - a great tennis player but so obnoxious.
Cristiano Ronaldo - such a soccer great, so disciplined (trains hard, doesn't drink alcohol), donates blood, but a playboy who had one big payment to a woman claiming sexual assault and who has at least 4 kids by 3 women, none of whom he ever married.
Tiger Woods is not different than the majority of men other than the fact that he is arguably the greatest golfer of all time. All the rest is pretty routine 'frat boy' type behavior or common among any number of celebs or politicians. The difference is he is wealthy, famous and physically fit, so he has many more options than the average philanderer. Nothing to see here. There are about 10 guys who live on your street who would do exactly what TW did if they were sitting on close to a billion dollars and were in prime physical condition.
He was speeding because he is obnoxiously rich and knows that normal rules don't apply to him.
According to this forum he also used to "run" in combat boots. Guy is an egomaniac.

TW's not in "prime physical condition" at 45. Hell, he wasn't at 35, either. He's been pretty jacked up for playing a non-contact, non-impact sport:
https://golfweek.usatoday.com/lists/tiger-woods-injuries-through-the-years/TW certainly is different than the majority of men, he's an entitled narcissist. Most guys I know would exercise far more adult restraint and the handful I know who wouldn't aren't the kind of guys I spend time with as they have empty lives they fill up with vice.
In the press conference the LAPD openly theorized that Woods accidently put his foot on the accelerator instead of breaking.
I'm torn on how believable that is. It seem ridiculous on the face of it. I'm not a particularly good driver. Yet never in my life, even when I was 17, have I ever made that mistake.
Yet I hear of people doing that. Also, I grew up with someone who happened to be a very skilled golfer. Oddly he was really uncoordinated in other things he did. He could barely hit a tennis ball. There was something about reacting to things in motion he struggled with. So just because Woods is the greatest golfer ever doesn't mean he isn't very uncoordinated in other things.
Also there is the fact that video was caught of Woods minutes before the accident where he was driving within the speed limit. That squares with the idea that he accidentally hit the brake.
Still, one thing I didn't understand from the LAPD press conference was they made no allusion to simply asking Woods what happened. But I only watched the initial few minutes of it.

Actually no. If someone is in my neighborhood going 40 mph over the speed limit he or her and I are going to have a problem.

According to TMZ, no warrant for cell phone records or blood (Tiger’s history is probable cause). There goes the LAPD again, not planting evidence.
So let's say I am on a rampage. I want to kill my wife. I grab a huge meat cleaver and am intent on slicing her to 1000 pieces. On the way I slip on a wet floor and fall breaking all my teeth. My jaw is broken and I am paralyzed from neck down. Since I punished myself so much I should not be prosecuted for attempted murder?
Amazing amount of illogic here. Congratulations.
Unfortunately I don’t think this is a case of the police protecting a celeb. They know his speed because they pulled it from the “black box” in the vehicle. There were no witnesses to the accident and you need a witness to prosecute. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.
I’ve done 100 in a 40 before.
83MPH in 45? He's a boss!
It just hit me...
...if Woods had been driving 10 mph faster, had a loaded machine-gun in the back seat, and had managed to stay on the road until the police pulled him over...
...he could've been this generation's Rodney King.
Worst post of the day. I feel sorry for the your wife. As someone pointed out he would get a reckless driving charge .

Obnoxious yes, but I like that.
McEnroe didn't make a fool out of himself after his main career. And that is something too.
