How much faster can you run on a track with Dragonfly spikes vs normal spikes? For 5000? For 1500?
How much faster can you run on a track with Dragonfly spikes vs normal spikes? For 5000? For 1500?
And I am interested in the Dragonfly vs The Air Zoom Victory vs The Mamba V.
Are the Dragonfly more for 3000m-10000m and the Victory's more for 800 & 1500m?
Are the Mamba really a steeple spike?
And what is the Nike Spike-Flat...seems generic, but is still a $100 spike? Is it a secret carbon plated shoe?
Thanks in advance for any insight.
bump?

Ya’ll buying into some hype. Dragonflys are no different than every other spike, except that the Nike hype machine convinces you they are worth more. Carbon doesn’t make you run faster.
Dragonfly’s have 0 carbon in them

So basically you agree they are no different

it's a Streak LT4 with spike plate strapped on.
So basically no one on LR has an opinion on shoes...that's a first.
My dragonflys come in later today. I'm racing an 800 this weekend (yes I know they aren't really intended for that) and will try to update. Hoping to run under 2:04

they are spikes, very nice spikes, they are not some wizard magic slippers.
there is no evidence for how good...some will run 2 secs a lap quicker ignoring the fact they are 2 secs a lap fitter. some will claim its the shoes, some will claim its the training. Some wont run quicker.
basically they are really nice on the feet. i like them more that nike vic elite 2. if you can afford it i would get them.
