This is the same course as Marc Scott's British Record was run on last summer.
It's flat, really fast and protected from the wind by a highway embankment on the prevailing side.
More importantly Beth was protected from the wind by a group of much larger (than her) men.
I can't see how the race organiser would start or finish at the wrong place as he's been holding races here for years. The spanner in the works is likely to be insufficient officials of a correct standard to satisfy World Athletics but we can be fairly certain that she did run 5000m in 14:41.
