You guys get the title. I injured my sacred iliac joint 4 months ago and haven’t been able to take a deep breathe since. It’s manageable most of the time but when I’m running, and especially during workouts, my SI joint tightens up. I found out that the SI joint can affect the diaphragm and I believe that’s been my problem, especially because my diaphragm was extremely raised and tight at the beginning of the injury. What should I do to treat it. I think my PT doesn’t understand the injury and I’m going to a chiropractor.
