Don't worry about it. Do whatever possible to go as FAST as possible.
I usually just do a smooth, relaxing kick in. BUT, if there's someone closing in on me, I stop with the GOODY s*** and make sure I finish before him.

Centro is a master at relaxing and allowing the running to cone out without tensing up and slowing down.
