Yeah, you might be able to do it, but you really need to improve you pacing. Aim to hit either consistent splits all the way through, or get faster in your second half. There really isn't any good reason to open 5 seconds faster than your goal pace in the first lap. You may feel good those first two or three laps, but if you can't run 72s on your 5-7 laps, then don't do it. If 10:15 pace is around 76-77 per lap, then shoot for that or even a little slower on the first few laps. If you have any kick, you can make up a lot of seconds in that final 400.
Even still, I think it would be really helpful to do this with some decent competition around you. Ideally you could do this at an invitational that has a bunch of guys who are gonna run around this time.
