Your grasp of WW2 and Post WW2 history is exceedingly misinformed.
For instance Britain was horribly bombed by the Nazis. First the were terrorized by the German air force and near the end of the war with V2 rockets.
Pre war America was already supporting England with supplies and Britain had sent their prototype jet engine to the US to ensure that the technological development would continue in case Britain was overrun by the Germans.
Read a book or two.
Your reading of my post is horribly misinformed. I actually stated that the NAZIs bombed British civilians, as well as Guernica, Rotterdam, Warsaw etc.
I'm not sure that makes stuff like Dresden right.
It's also a historical fact that the RAF bombed German civilians before the Germans did likewise. Most historians agree Churchill was hoping to get a response and some relief from the Luftwaffe bombing of airfields which was coming close to knocking Britain out of the war. As I said, Germany had already bombed many cities in Europe, but it's a historical fact that at the start Hitler gave the Luftwaffe strict orders not to target civilians.
Even Churchill regretted Dresden. More civilians were killed in 2 or 3 hours in that one city than in the UK in the entire war. And the war was as good as over at that point.
So Britain gives the USA the jet engine ( as well as radar, the computer, the A-Bomb etc etc) and still has to pay ruinous debts to them for the next 50 years. Thanks buddies.
