Sometimes I like to rotate in a vintage 70s or 80s shoe with my modern shoes, right now I'm running in the adidas boston 8 and an older pair of solar drive, however I feel like the chunkyness of the solar drive paired with the high heel to toe drop has been making my left hamstring a bit sore, like it's straining and getting really tight after a couple of successive runs.
I mainly run 2-4 times a week now for fun after being a D1 runner about 8 or 9 years ago. No big training or racing plans for the moment.
I have had the Nike Daybreak in the past and liked it pretty well last year but was wondering about the Challenger and what the slight/main differences between the feel of these shoes was, if much at all. I'm sure a few older runners have trained in both so I wanted to see before I jumped the gun and got one on sale.
