So today I just finished my winter track season with outdoor starting in about 4 days, our coaches are telling us to take these 4 days off however I don’t think I should do that since we are considering this indoor season as a “pre season” to the outdoor season... obviously the goal is to be able to peak in mid-late may and hold that until about mid June and of course not burn out. So what do you guys think I should do? Not run these next few days? Train as usual? Also my mileage throughout the winter was 60 and this week it’s only at 20 right now (we had a big race) so ideally I’d like to bring it up with a long run this tomorrow and double later today and start running 60-65 again next week but that’s only if I know I won’t burn out at the end of the season so that’s why I’m asking. 4:43 mile pr by the way if it matters.... I’m a junior and I’ve run about 60-70 mpw for the past year
