By the time of Nationals in June, college athletes on the NCAA grind, would have been competing for 6 months. They would have been in at least 30 races, compared to professionals who may have only been in 5 competitions at most. While the majority of college athletes' best times early in their outdoor season would have been good enough to medal at the Olympics, many, because they will be running on tired legs, on fumes actually, will not even be selected. Who do you think will make it to the team and at what distance? Given the outdoor season has just started, my picks are based pretty much on their indoor performances:
