Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but I think she has a good, but outside chance, shot at the 10K
USA team. So, what's up? Has she been running under the usual radar. Is she injured? What's up?

Yup injured right now. She has a YouTube channel and talks about it. Crosstraining with biking, skiing, etc right now. Can't remember what the actual injury is, sorry, but she is open about it on her channel.
10k? Did she give up on the steeple already?
I think she is, geographically speaking, in Alaska right now

Why do people ask LRC for runners status when it's so easy nowadays to find the answer?
Is Allie Ostrander update?

Precisely. Everyone on LR should know this is the proper way to ask the question.
Right now, she's probably still in bed sleeping. Duh!!!
Great video!

This always gets me. I can't tell if posters don't know that all/most athletes have various forms of social media where they cover these things, or if the posters are just lazy.
I'm sold. Big Allie O fan!
She loves eating foodhttps://www.instagram.com/ohlawdwenommin/

most people over the age of 30 don't use social media. What's wrong with wanting to have a discussion on a running message board about a track and field athlete?
Did you click this thread just to lecture the original poster?
According to her YouTube Channel she has a stress reaction & has been cross training. She has a food Instagram & appears to eat well but you don’t see her eating much bread or pasta, more like salads & sweet potatoes. I noticed that since getting injured she stopped posting about food

Your first part is valid, I'll give you that. Definitely easy to overlook that when it is second nature for me as a younger person. Whenever I wonder what someone's up to, I just pull up their IG/twitter/FB/YT and boom, all my questions are answered (usually). I just chuckle when, during a time like COVID when there aren't many races anyway, people just throw posts up here wondering what runners have been up to. And no, I was going to give the OP an actual response not lecture them, but someone beat me to it.
Sorry - didn't realize she had a youtube channel. Hope she recovers fully and returns back to form. Any yes - I'm an older guy that doesn't surf the net much. Go Broncos!
