Goals: Beat the PBs of my youth, get faster
Next Race: Planning on Doing Some Time Trials in May and June (probably 5k, 10k and 2 mile)
Goal Time: No real goals. I would be happy getting close to 16 minutes.
I have been doing a build up over the last couple months loosely following Daniels 5k - 10k plans. For mileage, I have been in the high 50s, to low 60s for the last 6ish weeks. Last week ended up being a bit of a down week for met as I felt very tried on my Friday workout. Hard to tell if was from running, work, or what. But I decided to take Saturday off and my long run easy.
M: 8 Easy (7:30)
T: 6 Mile Tempo. 5:51 Average. 6 minute pace down to 5:32. Felt Good. 10.5 for the day.
W: 10 Easy. Around 7 minute. Went extra early because of work. Felt tired.
Th: 6 Easy. 7:30 pace.
F: 3 sets of 2,2,4. Pace around 73-74. 6 miles for the day. Felt pretty rough.
Sa: Off. First Day off in over 6 weeks.
Su: 12 Miles. Average 7:20 pace.
Total: 53 Miles.
