For collegians looking to get NCAA/Oly Trials/Olympic qualifying times this spring, very few meets are currently on the schedule
For optimal weather conditions as we have seen with these recent winter outdoor track meets, we are really looking at Northern & Southern California venues.
The good news is that Stanford -- annually the go-to location every year to get 10k & 5k qualifiers -- is hosting the Stanford Invitational on April 2 & 3-- but is open to college athletes only.
The bad news: the Payton Jordan meet/early May as well as the Cardinal Classic/mid-April have been cancelled for 2021:

As well, Cal is not holding the Brutus Hamilton meet this year.
.
Worse, Mt. SAC Relays has cancelled the collegiate division meet originally scheduled for April 16 & 17:

Oregon's website does not even have an outdoor schedule posted as of now. Even when it does, well, Oregon weather in April & May is . . . concerning.
Sound Running's professional meet series begins in mid-May - - - but that's the weekend of most college conference meets. There may be some elite college distance runners who will skip their conference meet to chase times at this SoCal event.
So, at this point, all eyes should be on the Stanford Invite three weekends from now.
If anyone knows of any other spring distance carnivals with weather conditions conducive for great 10k & 5k times, please post.
