Hockers run today should show that Tanner simplyi didn't have it last night.

Last night, off of an opening 809 of 2:12.09, Tanner only closed in 1:54.11.

, Tonight Hocker closed in 1:52.29 off of a 2:01.42 opening 809.

2:01.42/1:52.29 is a filthy negative split

To all you track Einstein’s out there that blame Powell, you do realize he coached the 2015 Oregon distance team that scored 70 points at Indoor NC’s as opposed to this crew “ only” scoring 52, right?

Everyone praised him as the architect of the greatest NCAA distance crew of all-time after that meet.

Nah there was insane depth

Don't know how many times tanner has run on the boards (0 indoor tracks in NZ) . you could see he was worried 150 out that he didnt have his usual zip . He will come back quickly from this .. he is class with all the tools and they don;t dissappear over night . that was a hell of a meet for oregon..untouchable this indoor season ... outdoors will be interesting but my guess is tanner will be trying to peak for olympics having already clicked his ticket .
