Yep, Oregon outgoing 400 leg ran into another runner. Im not sure but I think it was Bama

Did Tuohy stumble at the beginning of the DMR? Looked like she was sprinting the first 100m but off the back

Who's running for NC State?
It was Tuohy, Postell, Vess and I think Shaw, maybe Bush

Was there a handoff issue either between the 2nd or 3rd exchange for a team? I don't have video but saw something on Twitter about poor handoffs?
YES. Alabama got in the way of the Oregon runners who were way behind the field. Wasn't paying attention and walked right in front of them.
I think it was the outgoing 800m runner for Oregon who ran into the 400m runner for Alabama who had just completed her leg.

She got her normal bad start, and somehow ended up way back and like you say sprinted the backstretch to get back.
Yes, I think I'm misremembering it. Overall, crazy day of races and some seriously impressive field performances
gotta love NCAA track and field
Tuohy with a 3:24.22 (worth a 4:43 low) looked like she had a lot of run left, tactically just didn't have it. Amaris Tyynismaa with a 4:31 anchor will be dangerous in the 3k tomorrow
So for Texas A&M women, they still have scoring chances in the 400 (2 runners, one of which is Mu), 4x400 (top seed), and triple jump (4th seed).
Arkansas women have the mile (3), 60m (1), 400 (2), hurdles (1), 800 (1), 3k (4), and 4x4 (2nd seed).
Texas A&M and Arkansas will be in the same 4x4 final heat, while the 400m final will have Arkansas in heat 1 and Texas A&M in heat 2.
Yeah, it's going to be interesting tomorrow afternoon.
BYU had too many fresh legs for Arkansas. Gear ran gutsy to hold 2nd.

Based on seeds A&M and Arkansas would tie. But Arkansas just lost 10 points as Izzo was #1 seed in 5,000. BYU will probably hurt Arkansas some more in the 3,000. If A&M doesn't DQ somewhere it is over.

She looked a lot better than a few weeks back when she was on fumes in a slower time. Hart ran 4:38 on her anchor which is a good time for her

I predict Arkansas will run terrible and not even podium. And this will come right after they blow the indoor meet as well. No championships for the hogs this year.
Called it in the Women's XC Prediction thread last week!! This meet is over. Hogs win nothing this year!!!

Looking at the finals start lists and then scoring them based on the remaining seeds, it looks like Arkansas could get up to 43 points while Texas A&M could get 31 points on Saturday afternoon. Combine with the scores thru 8 events, Texas A&M could win by 4 points (57 to 53). Hopefully I did the math right (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 scoring)
Arkansas Saturday potential scoring:
- 60: 3rd
- 400: 6th, 8th
- mile: 2nd, 7th
- hurdles: 6th
- 800: 6th
- 3k: 3rd, 6th
- 4x4: 2nd
Texas A&M Saturday potential scoring:
- 400: 1st, 3rd
- TJ: 4th
- 4x4: 1st

Results list Alabama with DQ
Amazing what actually getting to train can do. But the 1200m leg is roller derby. Cannot tell about her start bc I cannot make out which pixel she is.
Surprised that BYU never won the DMR until today.
Women's 5,000 is on YT
