Finally shakes him with 100m left
WOW almost broke the record... in a tactical rtace??
Teare put the BURNERS on Romo in the last 100
Anybody get a split on teare?

Teare 3:52
Garcia Romo 3:53
Carrozza 3:55
Tubby 3:55
they literally could’ve broken their own record if the 12 leg was a lil faster but its a championship
yeah, i don't even think romo was "dying" - cooper had like 4 unused gears. same goes for hunter in the 800m. they are on another level.
what was Teare's last 400m/200m?
Teare throws down hard to take the win, Ballsy race from the front
Ole Miss battles them leg for leg, great race
Splits
Oregon - Brown 2:52.73, 47.58, Hunter 1:46.70, Teare 3:52.99 for 9:19.98
Ole Miss - CEO 2:53.32, 46.81, Rivera 1:47.35, Garcia Romo 3:53.28 for 9:20.75
Does anyone know who ran the 400s for each team
Hunter was just effortless at the end of his leg when he took over first (1:46.70). Then Teare just took it pretty easy much of the race. He picked up around 5:25 and stopped the clock at 9:19.98 official, so he ran around 3:53/54, only picking up a lot the last lap. Despite the slow pace in the mile a long way, five or six teams might have been ahead of the old DMR record, and Oregon was only a half a second out of its own new record.

These times are just on a different level
Can someone tell me why Oregon didn't declare for NCAA xc?
I don't get it.
The track looks too easy for Teare. Why not go run NCAA xc two days from now?
I was critical of them putting the two only two days apart but in some ways it makes the double easier for the track guys. It's like free money. It's not going ot mess up their training. You are going to have a down week or two anyway.

Maybe he'll stick around for another 1/2 year and run XC in the fall?

I timed his last 200 in 26.3.. His last 400 was 53 low . I didn't time it but think they were pretty much 59, 159, 259. I don't think the telecast showed them cross the line with 400 so we are estimating.
If NCAA was on a PANCAKE flat easy type course, it would make sense
But you have an article up on the frontpage with quotes from NAU/BYU/Arkansas saying this is a legit nasty, not-Aarhus-level but certainly more European in difficulty XC course
Def understandable to not double, especially if they throw down some nasty performances tomorrow
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
