I saw that on Twitter this morning. It was hilarious to say the least.
I mean they are just joking and then they go on to say about more women becoming chefs. I don't see the problem with it really. There are worse things going on than a tweet. Like their food. Seriously. I don't understand how anyone likes it. McDonalds, yes. BK, no.
Do women not belong in kitchens? That seems pretty sexist to say women aren't allowed in kitchens.
well, yes... wrote:

It's really just about the secret, extra onion ring you get with your meal.
What just happened here is that a major corporation decided they were going to utilize the rage of the SJW movement to make some money. Wokeness has now become a commodity.
If you think this wasn't planned, you're insane. This is the exact reaction they were hoping for. You'll see more of this in the year to come.
Yes, people are realizing how crazy woke culture is, so companies like BK are using it to create outrage (publicity). The pendulum is finally swinging back
People can't handle the truth. Adults acting like little kids. That's why censorship exists. Pretty soon everything will be censored as people just can not deal with reality because it hurts their snowflake feelings.

Just like when other companies have utilised the rage of crazy right wingers by making business decisions that are tearfully decried as 'woke'.
Guess what. Companies make marketing decisions that attract attention, hopefully to increase their revenues.

as if there haven't been 'patriotic' commercials aimed at right ring nationalists for decades
when i worked at burger king, they put women on the cash registers first. no men on cash registers. then if there are extra women some end up in the kitchen. but,at that burger king, never on the fry and fish sandwhich station. and never moping the floors or cleaning the grease traps.
It’s almost as if their marketing team was trying to get a ride out of their social media post. Crazy concept, I know.

Exactly. We just haven't seen it from major companies on this side of the spectrum yet. Or at least I haven't. I have seen companies like Black Rifle Coffee and the like, but this is publicly-traded RBI.
I guess we'll see if they timed it right...

They're not 'that side of the spectrum' as it wasn't an attempt to appeal to the right wing.
This was just a 'shocking' tweet to get peoples attention, and then the rest of their thread was that they were starting an initiative to get more women to take up jobs as chefs.
So it was, as the crazies would say, just another nail in western civilisation's coffin. Not a brave company standing up for the rights of white men in their hour of need.
