I know many people with high IQs who are a mess as human beings. Intelligence is only one component of being a "success" in life. Emotional intelligence is also very important. So is communication. So is salesmanship. If you "just" have intelligence, maybe you would like a field where you can be by yourself and sit in a room and think so you don't have to deal with "normal" people who might not understand you. But then you would also need to be self-motivating and have good work habits. My IQ is 162. It helped in some areas and slowed me down in others for years because... it made me arrogant. I didn't think I had to listen to anyone else. I had to grow up and realize all the other qualities that makes you a good person or a successful person. Still working on it.
