The cops involved should get what they deserve. Whether it’s in a courtroom (not likely) or afterwards.

Opioid-induced respiratory distress is racist, always has been, cops have no excuse.
They'll want this to drag on as long as possible so the public forgets a little about it.
It all depends upon what the evidence says. If guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, lock 'em up. If there is reasonable doubt, set 'em free. Let the justice system do its thing and hopefully we get the correct outcome, whichever that may be.
Most important thing is that regardless of the outcome, we do not have a repeat of last summer with Minneapolis and other cities burning.

Cops killing black people are way down since the BLM protests. BLM did work

Just demonstrates what a problem there was. Then suddenly the pig cops get scared when there's a crackdown on their abuse of authority. No surprise here. They're cowards with guns and tasers .

How has the citizens killing other citizens been since this crackdown on “pig cops”?
What we saw on tape was cold-blooded murder. You kneel for eight plus minutes on a defenseless man's neck and your intentions are obvious. Spin it however you want, the facts are there for everyone to see. Those who comfort themselves in denial have lost touch with reality. There's a word for that: "insanity."

Six weeks of protests in Tiananmen Square ended in a helluva hurry when the Chinese military drove brought in tanks and killed a lot of people. Clearly the Chinese government's response did work.

I'm pretty sympathetic to BLM generally, but this is a WILD take. There is no evidence whatsoever that Chauvin knelt on Floyd's neck with the intention or even the reasonable expectation of killing or severely harming him. Subduing suspects in this manner is not even considered particularly dangerous as long as you kneel on the side of the neck (as Chauvin did) and don't put sustained pressure on the airway (which Chauvin did not).
I'm with the protesters that the American carceral state has gotten out of control, that too much behavior is criminalized, and that cops should be held to a higher standard, but I wish we could steer away from these sort of sensationalist responses that don't even seem like they want to try to paint an even-handed picture of what happened.

It was never high to begin with so that's not saying much. How much has crime gone up in cities where the police were refunded? You can thank BLM for that too I guess.

In what cities were cops “refunded”, Cleetus?
Yeah, it's not really the "arrest" that is the problem. Try to rewrite this subject heading.

Exactly - this guy is one of the most boring, unimaginative trolls in LetsRun history.
