it makes a lot of sense, actually
Doggles have been a thing for years
My sons duck hunt and the dogs run all out through high grass and brush that can scratch eyes and can also be hurt if the bird is still kicking when retrieved. The Rex specs prevent that risk. Just another "wish I'd thought of that thing"
Americans are oddly obsessed with their dogs. We were surprised to be in a store to buy groceriery supplies, only to see someone with a dog in the store on a rope and also another carrying her dog in a handbag.
We were also very shocked at how fat most are there as well.

I live in America, and I have literally never seen a dog on a rope. I think you are lying.

It's not the dog's fault. They just eat what is given to them. Why are you fat shaming some dog?
Yes I have. Some of the stuff I wrote last night qualifies!
Yes, I read Letsrun frequently.
Blame it on the PC crowd. All you have to do is say "EMOTIONAL SUPPORT DOG!" and a store would be afraid to do anything about the dog that is sniffing around the produce section.
Actually, I have been noticing something that is perhaps equally dumb recently. While I have been running through a suburban neighborhood recently I have been noticing a lot of ladies (I only mention this because I have observed zero instances of a guy doing this) walking down the sidewalk with trekking poles or ski poles.
They are generally not very old ladies. That would be more understandable. I would guess that the average age of these ladies is 50 and they mostly all fall between 40 and 60. I would guess that I have seen a dozen different ladies in that neighborhood doing this in the last month. It could be more. It could be less because I probably only saw up to 4 or of them on a single one of my runs and I don't know who they are to tell the difference on a different day. That day that I saw 4 or 5 different ladies walking the suburban sidewalk with trekking poles is when I really started taking notice of this absurdity though.
Is it that everyone in the suburbs can just buy so much stuff that all of these ladies decided to get trekking poles for their daily one mile hike down the sidewalk?
yes. nbatopshot.com
