So why mention his age? He is 24 smh.

I mentioned his age because it MATTERS. IF he was 18 he might be a superstar one day. At age 24 his trajectory to be a star is not as likely.
Is that photo really of him? That stride is a spitting image of Charles Jock.

It’s a 3:53 mile since he ran a 1600
Impressive, hope to see him race against Hunter, Hocker, and Teare
Tanner will beat them all at NCAAs
Good for him (and the shoes)

Is this the fastest DMR anchor leg ever recorded in the NCAA? Only one faster in my memory is Ribich 3:54 at the D2 meet
I haven’t seen the official number but I’ve seen anywhere from 351-354 quoted for Kimani.

My bad, obviously 3:51 is faster than 3:54. I meant to say the next fastest in my memory is Ribich
I’m sure there are others notable performances, but I remember a David Kimani (Alabama or south Alabama?) splitting a 3:53 low at the Alabama Relays ( I think) back in 2000
24 Y/O freshman. With Alabama coach adjusting birth certificates (he messed up this one). Cheating never pays off and will eventually get caught again. Such a blow hard weird walking tool.

It's not against the rules to be a 24 year old freshman.
Mo Farah didn't reach superstar status until 28! We dont know what his event will be. If you have 3:51 speed you hot options. Plenty of 18 yrs old get washed up by the time there 20s. Alot has to do with coaching and proper training without major injuries.
Rojo, today's broadcast showed Alabama way way back through the first several legs. Eliud was closing in on Romo the last hundred and destroyed the 3rd place finisher.
Ole Miss was never seriously in danger of losing. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened if Alabama would have given Kipsang the baton a few seconds earlier.
Kipsang was 2nd in the 3k closing a 8:04 3k in 53.53 [28.07] [25.46] Great performance from Mario Garcia Romo to win in 8:03 with a 53.14 last 400 [27.75][25.39]

Why bring up Mo Farah? A lot of it has to do with getting the right PEDs too. He does NOT have 3:51 speed. He might be a 3:53 miler currently.
