Wesfly just beta'd out the back of the back and...look! A Tinman athlete finishes on the podium in true alpha style.

Pestfly got dropped by 8+ people.

I agree. I wish NBC was anywhere near this good.
This girl doing post race interviews is terrible. Other than that great commentary
Great finish. Engels with the win. Says he's about to puke & will never do a 5K again.

Yes. "Just over Galen Rupp's high school PR." lol.
We merged two threads together. The 2nd thread was called "Texas Qualifier is Stacked. Free coverage. Merber in the booth! "
Where is Jamin, he'd love the womens' ten at this meet.

Yeah especially when the announcer said with about 250 to go that “she can still smell her.”
With 3 laps to go the one announcer said they would get just under 34 and the other didn’t even correct him and then he finally corrected himself. But it wasn’t that he misspoke it was that he couldn’t do the simple arithmetic.
Have there been any trials qualifiers today? I don't think there have. I know its early and the faster day is tomorrow.
That was a gutsy race by Montanez. I love it when people keep fighting for the lead after they're caught.
Merber is absolutely fantastic. Chavez is a bit of a doofus and uses too many memes when talking.
Abrahamson seemed like she forgot it was an actual meet and wasn’t trying to even be remotely “professional.”
They got bricks!
Loved Merber on the call tonight. Races were a bit underwhelming tonight but looking forward to tomorrow.

Agree. Emma seemed off her game tonight. Usually she is much better.
No time qualifiers, but some might be able to fill a field if there aren't enough time qualifers.

That was probably the best-produced track broadcast I've seen. All the more impressive considering how quickly it came together.

And it was free. Flotrack going out of business any day now.
Watching the replay. Kyle Merber is already the best distance running commentator i've ever heard and it's been like 3 minutes
I feel like if KK runs 31:15 she's looking at D'Amato's heels from a distance. Kd'A's Marathon Project time, when she wasn't sharpening for a 10k, puts her at 30:54 with a Daniels Calculator.
