Keep on grinding, Greg. You'll get there.

Greg,
You need to find a job that will fill the void and give you internal satisfaction.
I suggest the following possible areas of employment.
Street-Sweeper Driver for the City of Edmonton. A important occupation that would keep the streets clean.
Bowling Alley Equipment Checkout Clerk. Once this China Flu is over there's gong to be a upsurge in the pent up demand for bowlers needing to release their aggression on the lanes.
Community Activist. Look where it got some guy from Kenya.
Piano Tuner. Why buy a used piano when you can play other people's pianos for free.
Organic Sod Farmer. Nothing more fulfilling than watching grass grow.
More to come if you need inspiration,
Concerned Citizen

Greg, I am the addict because I'm addicted to everything. (Ever listen to Panic Attack by the Glorious Sons?) In particular drinking, investing in stocks and gambling. Full disclosure, I enjoy a fat blunt once in a while.
I bought the lambo (lower tier) with gambling winnings that can be confirmed with the Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. I do have a regular job that is tech/media related that I should probably quit but I'm worried my addictions would be further fueled if I did. I have over 3 bitcoins and have advocated for bitcoin heavily on this site.
I try to appreciate everything in life. I suppose in that way I am also an addict.
Congrats on your casino wins. I enjoy poker every now and then. I lost big time when I was in my late teens/early 20's. But since then I've only lost minimal ammounts. Over my life though I'm definitely down quite a bit. I enjoy online tournaments where the top prize is in the 10's of thousands or more because you can win big with as little as $10 or $20 to enter.
The downside of poker is that it is pretty boring a lot of the time. It's fun for a couple hours yet when you are dealt junk cards and just sit through hand after hand for hours, only playing a few, that is boring.
Poker aside, I do not own any bitcoin. I can't buy it through my brokerage so I don;t think I'd be willing to send $ elsewhere, set up an account to buy it. But I do know it has done very well, so congrats to you. If I could buy a few through my brokerage I would consider it. (I'd buy only a fraction)
Money is fun to think about and play around with. Even though I don't have a lot relative to some, I am thankful to have what I have. Went down in the stock market today but I will hold my potitions likely for the long hall. Come Tuesday will mark 6 months I've held individual stocks. I am still very new to investing. I'm just holding what I have with the belief and confidence it will do well over a span of 2-5 years. So far I am down though.
Your life isn't going anywhere because you aren't doubling down on anything.
Pick a direction, double down, and then enjoy working towards it each day. Simple as that. Follow the creeds of people you respect, live healthy and be good towards others.

Ok, timing is everything. I believe things will work out well for me in time.
I believe in my direction, in my tv project. Not many share that belief but that's unimportant because it's my life, not theirs.
I just try to live each day the best I can. When I say I need a breakthrough I'm just expressing that I'd like to be more advanced than I am career wise. But if it isn't happening it isn't happening.
Are you sure you're living it as best you can?

Yes, I live my life, I would know. How would you presume to know someone better than themselves?

From a purely financial standpoint, have you won more than you've lost in gambling over your lifetime?
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
