Not looking for housing in Boulder and Flag is the only option.
Broomfield is a good alternative. Even Boeing likes to drop their engines there.

laramie is very under rated in terms of altitude training. 7200 feet so its higher than flag and boulder. housing is very affordable I have a few friends who go to school there and pay little rent. there is flat dirt roads for days. close by is veedawoo if which is a state park with alot of single track trails. its 45 minutes from fort collins. draw backs are brutal winters and the wind is always a problem unless you get out for runs in the morning. its a shame the UW cross country team isnt better because they have a gem for training grounds. -
