Thought it would be fun to keep track of my weight loss here. At one point in the fall I was abut 149 pounds. I started taking my diet more seriously since January and started a much more restrictive diet last Tuesday. Today I weighed in at 143.2. Goal is somewhere between 135 and 130.
Wow!...how tall are you?
You must be shredded?
What kind of diet are you on?
I want to get down to 130 and be ripped & buffed!
Not shredded... Fairly typical runner body.
No particular diet. Just trying to eat in a calorie deficit. I get about 120g of protein a day and then a bunch of carbs.
Weighed in at 143.2 again this morning. Ate a little bit more than I should have last night.
I used to eat whatever I want, I was 5’11 about 145. (Still skinny, no visible abs tho). Now I try and race around 134-137 and if I’m base training I’ll stay around 140. The difference of having those pounds off is incredible but it’s definitely not something I could maintain.
You're body weight seemed perfectly fine for me. Now you restrict yourself so severly that you obsess over last nights food intace. Doesn't seem like a good relationship with food, diet and training. Hopefully you're not training high mileage. Short way to a stress fracture if you continue severe restriction so that you loos weight fast. I would strongly recommend losing those pounds over a longer time period if you're training somewhat high mileage or at high intensity at the moment.
Once you start weighing yourself regularly you will realize fluctuations are normal.
Also, weigh yourself first thing in the morning before you eat or drink anything to ensure you are weighing yourself under similar circumstances.
Weighing yourself at different points in the day is pointless.
