They are both running both the mile and 2 mile... get excited!! Predictions on times? I think they can really push each other. I think Dadamio will take the W in the mile 4:37 to Thorvaldson's 4:41. For the two mile, I think they will stay together for most of it and Thorvaldson will out-kick Dadamio for two sub 9:50 performances (9:48 T, 9:49 D). Whoever has the most accurate prediction gets a cookie

Mary Cain's hs indoor/all-conditions record is 9:38.68. She ran that at the 2013 New Balance Grand Prix, finishing 3rd behind 3-time Olympian Tirunesh Dibaba.
Now, 2 hs girls have a chance to get close to that time in a hs-only race.
What could make this possible is DaDamio taking out the first mile close to 4:50 w/Thorvaldson in tow, then Thorvaldson taking control and going all-out for the record.
DaDamio ran 4:50/5:01 splits in her 9:51/3200 this past weekend, so it's possible she'll do a repeat performance. -
Should be interesting! Looks like the two miles on Saturday and the mile is on Sunday.
Curious to see if damio can run faster, or two super fast 2 mile times in consecutive weeks. Has anyone done that before?
How come no Hutchins this is in Virginia right, is she taking the winter off? I saw thorvaldson hasn't run any Fast Times yet, 10:20 3200. Maybe her legs will be fresher
Anyway I think it might be tough to double back and have a fast mile time if it's an all out 2 Mile. -

It was a link on milesplit and it says tentative schedule so, maybe they're doing the 2-mile First on purpose because they're looking for Fast Times in that race -

Does anybody here actually watch any meets? At least click on the athletes in milesplit of Tfrrs for college. She has run a handful of races in 2021. VA races were mid January.
