First of all, Ches was way closer to 27 than 19 in high school. Show me any proof at all that he was only 19 - it doesn't exist.
Maton, Rupp, LV, Ches, Pepiot were all over-age in high school or when they started at Oregon. That place is ridiculous with the pharmaceuticals, age cheating, home stadium for every national meet.
Why not say 28 or 29 or THIRTTTTY?! Criminy!
The age discussion was and remains sooooo 10 years ago. Not really sure why it matters at this point - the beaten horse is dead. Sure, I don't doubt he was a little old, much like his other Ducks. That's just how life goes in the unfair world that is *amatuer* athletics.
I thought about saying 30, but it probably was ONLY 26. Unfair is another word for cheating. They may be within the rules, but you know and I know and they know that they are cheating. That goes triple for byu.
