The whole Dudek vs Tuohy thing is ridiculous. They're both going to be good. Tuohy, physically, still looks like a little kid rather than a young woman. With females, it is always hard to tell what will become of their talent as they mature but I would like to believe that Tuohy still has plenty of upsides. People are talking as if she is done and has a fork in her.
I think when it’s all said and done Starliper will be the best out of these three once she gets healthy! Tuohy is far from done......she and Starliper are going to be great training partners for the next 4 years. Starliper was surely the better runner and would have shown that if her Indoor Nationals and Spring season would not have been stripped of her by COVID. Everyone talking about Mile times with the elite today is right, their mile times are not good for elites.
Starliper on the other hand before Indoors got cut off , ran 9;07 in the 3000 at BU and 4:37 at Millrose dusting Hutchins, Rosin, Whittaker, Parks, and Ewert. She was scheduled to run the 2 mile at NBN Indoor before it got canceled.,..she was ready to run 9:45 or better, She was the only high school runner probably since Cain to break 4:40 several times in high school and consistently ran under 4:45 in her career. The other recent milers like Parks and Starcher only broke 4:40 once ( they are very inconsistent). In college consistency is the name of the game. Starliper probably has the most range out of all recent elites.
My last prediction is that Starliper, Dudek, and Starliper will all win at least one NCAA title in some event, and multiples more than likely if healthy! All have great range and are probably the best athletes since Cain, they are a college coach’s dream!
