Haha, that is the best joke we have heard for awhile.
Hi, I've never posted on here before, but have read for years (thanks for all you do). I'm a tech product manager so figured I would feed my ego/lie to myself by insinuating that my feedback is well-informed.
Generally the changes are awesome, in particular for mobile. Load times and overall performance are noticeably better (my fairly decent computer's fan used to start running when I opened letsrun, and now it doesn't!). Thanks for making the investment.
A few small things:
- The navigation menu at the top should be taller, on both desktop and mobile. Its current height isn't large enough and, in particular, makes it hard to reach the menu in the top left corner on an average sized smartphone. Maybe scale the whole thing up ~1.25x?
- The highlights menu just below the 'letsrun.com' logo (currently has "this week's track talk podcast", "letsrun.com has a new website design", gear, tuohy 9:19) is really easy to miss with the current styles. It looks more like an ads block than actual content. That could pop a lot more with the right styling - the eye goes right to quote of the day, or the ad just above it.
- Restyle coming to massage boreds?
Godspeed!

My moderately old PC's fan still kicks into high gear when I visit this site. It's the only website that I frequent where my fan sounds like my PC is trying to take flight.
