Do you know what the word similar means? If that is not similar, what is? Nope. I guess in no way does her performance resemble her performances from freshman year. Grouping runners in 5 second groups for 1200 seems pretty reasonable. If you slice it to only a second or 2, then almost no performances are similar. If she ran 3:15 yesterday, that would not be similar just like if she ran 3:35.
Katelyn Tuohy is making her collegiate debut at Camel City - predictions?

I predict a full meltdown on this website that she is a washed up burn out with a bad knee if she runs anything over 9:05.
Then she'll slowly build and improve. She'll sign a pro contract and make the 2024 Olympic team and everyone will act like none of this happened.
Or she won't. She'll develop other interests and build a life that is fulfilling all the same, and we'll come on here and whine about what a burn out she and all girl athletes are. -
I guess we should get back to predictions. My current prediction is 9:22.

I predict 9:07 for 3rd.

Wow. That would be a nice improvement from her 1200.

Good to see the nxn announcer there as well!
That guy's a pro! Would have been cool as have the whole announcing team. Should have got Michael Buffer to do the intros. That would have been epic -

how about that! 3 corrections and not one included an insult. -
What about Sasha neglia? She had a good fall? Is she running for UNC?
Also Kelsey Camille look good in that 5K. Thought she was going to get the win there at the end but that other girl was pretty strong Runner. She led the whole way -
I am impressed.
Since I can't get anything right here anyway, I'll predict 8:57.43 -
Her 1200m last night is worth about a 9:20.

Tuohy leading off DMR
I get her at 3:26 on the fly
officially 3:25.5 for Tuohy, Henes 4:36.7 on the anchor but too big a gap to close

3:25 and 4:36.7; what happened in the middle?
Don't tell me a fully funded large D1 school can't scrounge up a 55 quarter miler and a 2:10 half miler. -

As I was trying to explain to a guy on another thread. It's 95% just the luck of the draw how you develop
I mean if you don't do anything Reckless and try to be healthy, have a good nutrition, have a smart training strategy, 95% of the other stuff is just the lack of how you develop
I mean you take like like a bunch of young runners. One or two might go on to be Pros doing exactly the same thing as the other ones. A couple will get injured. A couple will develop other interests. -
