If that was a real xc course and not pancake flat, you’re in good shape. That’s like a 15:15 on the track, which needs at least a 4:28/9 mile or 4:26/7 1600. Assuming you’re like most high schoolers and you’re a little better the shorter the distance, I’d say you’re relatively close from your xc fitness and a little more emphasis on speed has you very close to your goal at peace shape.
