Looking for a fast day shoe. Any Boston users? I pronate ever so slightly so like a somewhat stable shoe (I do run in neutral shoes).
What they like? Fast? Hard on feet?

Adidas has fallen behind in shoe tech with their emphasis on street wear. I wore a bunch of Boston’s and Adios but shifted to the Brooks Hyperion Tempo.
They’re the worse reviewed shoe on LRC. If you search the forum you’ll see any thread about shoes bashes them.
The boston is my main training shoe. Has been for years and years.
I'm 145, 5-11, narrow footed. Train at around 7:40 pace.
I like a simple shoe with roll from heel to toe.
Not sure what more to say...it fits narrower than almost any other shoe, so be ready for that.
I've found that the shoes need a 20 mile break in period - they feel a bit bricklike until they soften up a bit.
My favorite thing about them is the fit, then how light they are, then the perfect balance between cush and responsiveness. Love these babies.
great shoes, fast & smooth, continental rubber is indestructible (2000+ miles on my last pair)
Yea they’re great I use them for workouts
Yes, very good. One of my go-to trainers of the last 5 years.
I purchased the Boston 8 one month ago and it's the most versatile running shoe I ran in. They are dynamic and protective at the same time. The outsole is great, traction is really good and it seem to be durable. The only issue I had so far is the fit. It's pretty narrow, I ran 100 miles before getting comfortable.

Is this supposed to be sarcasm? It's always been one of the best reviewed shoes on LR, both in the forum and the shoe site. For the shoes with a decent number of reviews:
Boston 6: 8.9
https://www.letsrun.com/shoes/adidas/adizero-boston-6Boston 7: 8.9
Boston 8: 8.9
Hoka Clifton 6: 8.6
Hoka Clifton 5: 8.6
I love them for all the reasons above posters stated. I have a narrow foot and it's hard to find a shoe where I feel totally locked in. Boston is great for tempos and shorter intervals. I have run up to 13 miles in them with no issues. I love the 9 because it's a little more springier.
I actually personally use the Boston 9 as a lightweight trainer. I don't use it for workouts unless they are more like sub-threshold workouts. But the are a very nice shoe. I have gone 20 miles in training on them and I think they have enough cushion for it.
Basically any time that I want to run a bit faster than an easy pace but slower than tempo pace, I put them on. We have a lot of rocky steep trails around here too, and the rubber is extremely grippy, which makes them a great lightweight trail runner.
Love the Boston 9. It's a good tempo day option but has just enough protection for some longer efforts as well. It's not as fast of a shoe as the carbon fiber shoes but can be acquired cheaply and is super versatile.
I have 5 pairs I rotate for my daily training (100+ mpw). I love them, but wish they still had the tempo 9s.
They are fast, firm and stable. Works really well for tempo runs. Quite narrow, though. Have also encountered some issues with the lockdown. Could take some time to adjust. Dunno whether it was the shoe or not but I did have a small twist in my ancle (not a stability issue, rather how narrow they are).
I tried a pair and honestly I don't get the hype. I found it to be less responsive, less cushioned, and more stiff than other shoes in the same price category. But then again some people love it, definitely wasn't for me.
Boston v5 v6 v7 (skip v8 they ruined upper) best daily trainer
Not the fastest shoe but most reliable, least injury prone, can take tons of miles.
Use adios v3 v4 for tempo/speed work or race-day shoe.

Agree with most, however I would not Boston for daily trainer. I would use Boston for longer/moderate temp runs and Adios for faster workouts.
Boston is the best value for a great shoe for tempo runs, uptempo long runs and even strength workouts. On discount for $50 often, lasts 400+ miles, great continental tire bottom that works well on road/trails. I ran my PR marathon in them, but now would use supershoes. That being said, it's a workhorse for everything but easy runs.
For me, Bostons are the Goldilocks of running shoes... Just right. Relatively light and fast, but very comfortable and cushioned just enough. They can be used for workouts and long runs.
Fit is perfect for me. I'm neutral, regular width feet with good medium arches.
I always found the Boston a bit too minimal for everyday training but it is a great shoe for shorter runs and faster stuff. I found the old Tempo more versatile.
But what the heck happened to Adidas's running line? I poked around a couple major online running stores and they only have a couple training models. What is left appears to be a beefed up monstrosity.
