Looking for some marathon training advice, somewhat specific to someone the wrong side of 60 years old. I can't train like a 40 year old .
What sort of mileage should I be peaking at? What should the length of the long run be? What workouts are recommended? I can run 6 days per week, with a max of one workout per week, plus long run.
My current 1/2 marathon time is a few minutes under 1 hr 40 mins. I would like to train for a time, rather than just finish. Is a 3:30 finish realistic?
