If Ben True wins or performs really well will any sponsors offer him a deal?

So an hour or two away from starts?

Yes indeed. 36/76 minutes from so men’s and men’s races, respectively.
The Build the Purse thing is ridiculous. Support sponsored athletes who are living my dream life? The only unsponsored guys are Ben True and Reid Buchanan. I will Venmo either of them 50$ if they win. I'm not giving to the money to Woody Kincaid if he beats his teammates in a time trial.
The most ridiculous part is that BTC AVOIDS RACING and now they want support at their own Time Trial that barely counts as a race to get an OT qualifier?!
Choosers and Beggars, Oh my god.
Some runners who are faster than BTC guys like Tuntivate or Bartelsmeyer (not to mention legacy admissions like Chris Derrick) were unfortunate enough to be born in the USA and their faster times were deemed them unworthy of BTC sponsorship. Those guys are running in the Atlanta Track League risking COVID in Arkansas for exposure and to get sponsorships. Look Erik Sowinski dead in the eye and tell him he should give $50 dollars to Sean McGorty.
Did not mean to focus on the men, that was a misjudgement on my part. The exact situation is playing out for the women except literally NO ONE needs $50 in that race.
There were just as many women in the ATL who also race for exposure and sponsorships and they also deserve my 50 more than anyone in this TT.

I doubt it -- Ches will probably refuse to push the pace as soon as the rabbits drop out and then kick for the win in a 27:35 type time.
Pretty sure they’re gonna want the 27:28 Olympic standard—probably the primary reason for the event.
Also, Marc Scott FTW.
+1
Scott
Kincaid
Cheserek
Fisher
yeah, they ought to get their 10K qualifier in one of those numerous other 10K races
^^^A true supporter of the athlete right there, kids.
Put up or shut up- do something for the sport, salty boy.
Please let us know how many laps on the indoor track in Fayetteville a 10k would be? 49?
After all, the ATL surely held a 10 there with the idea of dipping under the oly qualifying time, right?
This is absurd. Just seems like absolute jealousy.
Nobody’s hitting up Erik Sowinski for a handout, dude. But if some wealthy track fan wants to put $50 in the pot, I’d rather it go to these distance runners than toward their 4th flat screen TV. Do you take that personally?

I think autocorrect switched “women’s” to “so men’s,” damn autocorrect.
Sounds like a rant from a single cell amoeba.
Go BTC!
I’m ready for Chris Derrick to break my heart all over again

Also I was an hour off because I messed up the time zone conversion even though I’m only two time-zones away. ??
Too eager I guess.
Very windy here in So Cal. I don't like it for 25 laps around a track!
18 to 20 knot winds here in Palos Verdes. It is surely about the same in Orange County if the race is down there again. Ugh.

Looks like 7-8 mph winds in L.A.? Not bad at all really.
will only Infeld and Marielle Hall get the OQ?
