I agree. Are they racing or is this just hypothetical?
Hunter can win the mile in the NCAA. Interesting that he has a teammate who can beat him.
Cooper could probably run a hair faster but In a tactical race I'm taking Hunter, who probably has 1:45 800 speed. I know he hasn't run 1:45 but he has a 54-53 negative 1:47, so he could probably run 1:45.
I bet they are racing one day, I just was guessing what you guys thought. They are on the same team so they probably know whos better.

I will be curious what the Oregon guys run this week back in Arkansas. Meet will likely be streamed. Texas A&M should be there too.
hunter now, cooper soon
Why do you say that, pretty sure they are both fit.

I would like to see Teare/Hocker/Mestler run the 5k and get the top 3 times, like NAU did in the 3k last year. Also Hunter and Peralta should run the 800.
They raced a mile last indoor. Hunter won by a hair (0.09). Pretty fast times, 3:55 for both of them. I'd say Hunter's got the edge, but Teare might pull it off occasionally. 2/3 times Hunter wins, 1/3 Cooper wins. If it's more tactical, Hunter becomes a clear favorite, but the fact that he beat Cooper in a fast race too is impressive.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
