Official Team practices were MWF @ 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Classes end latest at 5:20
M-F, 3:30
9AM Long Run
5am mon thru fri
Sat time trial or race
Sun meet at golden corral where I give lecture
4:15pm M-F. 9 or 10am long run on Sundays. No classes take place after 4pm believe it or not.
7am Tuesday, 7 am Friday
4 PM Monday-Friday
8am Sunday
No practice Saturday (but many times had a meet)
I thought it was a ridiculous amount of practice back when I did it and reading this thread it seems like I was right. No reason for formal practice on some of these days, especially the easy doubles after the morning workouts.

I agree so much. Over the years, scheduling practices on easy days probably made the runs a mile or two shorter because we had 10 or 15(or more) wasted minutes that day compared to if we just got our dang runs in.
Coach could have been recruiting more than 2 runners a year. Or literally could have just stayed home even, idc.
We only formally practice on Tuesdays and Fridays. But on random days we’ll do lift, drills and strides together all usually after doubles or one of our workouts
8am mondays(on certain days)Double in the afternoon on our own and sometimes lift
8:30 Tuesday if we work out in the AM(4:30 if in the afternoon)
Wednesday on our own(usually run in the AM)
Thursday is the same thing
Friday- workout and lift
Race week is obviously different w travel days
Forgot the weekend:
we’re OYO, race or LR saturday or sunday depending on the week or if coach gives us a day off(he likes 6 day weeks)
We do long runs together most of the time around 10am
