I have it on good word that the time will be rightly voided and Hobbs will be served a 6 month ban due to his cheating by stepping off the track.
He should have been DQ's and fined immediately, but at least delayed justice is still justice.

Congratulations for deliberately missing the point. Well done!
If your point was that you know nothing about other countries, that came across pretty clearly.
Oh, you really got me, there.
This will of course be announced on March 4th.
thanks for the info.
I heard he did the Kessel Run in twelve parsecs.

Fab...I watched Star Wars IV the first day it opened in my locale.
I need a conversion factor for carbon-plated shoes before I am enthralled with this recent HS mile sub-4 time.
I've already gotten a conversion for cinder to tartan track from a guy that ran the 800m on cinder (raced Jim Ryun) and that is 2-3 seconds per 800m.
This is accurate. 3:55-56 is the tartan track equivalent of cinder sub-4 for the mile. Hence, Jim Ryun, Tim Danielson, Marty Liqouri, and Alan Webb.
No other HS runners have sub 4 by cinder track standards.
I don't think this HS runner is sub-4 w/o cheater shoes, but I might be wrong.

He wouldn't have been anywhere near sub-4 if he hadn't cheated by stepping inside the track
You are incorrect. The records don't care about conversions.

Lmao I've never even heard of Hobbs Kessler.
This is amazing how much talent is coming out of the wood works like this. For example, This weekend I was at a meet in VA Beach and a kid from the Philly area, which I know pretty well, runs 9:13 looking pretty smooth uncontested. I had never heard of him before but as it turns out, I heard from another coach at the meet that the kid ran 4:12 the week before, also without push. The kid is a junior so who knows what next year will bring.
However, this Hobbs kid is at a whole other level of "say whaaaat?"

These kids and coaches today have 24/7 access to racing/training/video/splits. Also on social media you can see how popular running is. You’re a bored kid looking for a new hobby scrolling through Instagram... Wow look at all the likes these runners are getting. Maybe I could be great at running?
Hobbs and Kessler was the best action buddy movie of the 2019 summer.
Agreed.
This kids ran a super smart and fantastic race. I can't believe nobody is talking about the fact he accidentally stepped off the track for at least a step and maybe more. All the news is acting like he broke a HS record and I don't see how this can be an official finish. Why is this not a story?
I have it on good word that the DQ has gone through and record has been invalidated.
Good riddance Hobbs. I can't stand cheater trash.
False.

Sorry buddy, gonna need a source for this.
"As might be expected from one in his first-ever race on a banked track, Hobbs Kessler had a brief mishap on one of the curves, but his step inside the curb won’t affect the acceptance of his 3:57.66 as a High School Record. (SHAWN PRICE)"
From T&F News, the holder of the records. But sure, we will accept the denial from one anonymous poster on Letsrun over them.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
