this is soo far past being a joke, and clearly shows discrimination against russia.
countries that should be banned;
kenya,
ethioia
jamaica,
us
uk,
norway
spain,
and the great lord in charge of this debacle needs to be defrocked and a red hot poker inserted.

Agree it shows discrimination against Russia, but why should the UK and Norway be banned? How many athletes have tested positive in those countries?
As for Coe, these Kenyans wouldn't even be getting caught if it wasn't for his attempts to clean up the sport
dwain chambers
linford christie
diane modahl
christine ohurogu
hmm, thats the best i can do (athletics). Might have to cross uk off the list. Im a little surprised. damn, the brits are clean, lol.
Norway? Cross country skiing.
Dian Modahl is innocent, there were massive procedural issues with that which when replicated resulted in false positives.

It appears she was, However, a red flag for me would be that she shared the same manager (her husband) as Said Aouita.
Loads of people unfortunately have a similar link at some point during their athletics career, but she is one of the few I truly believe is innocent. And Paul.
Did you smoke a cigarette after you read that article? Do you still feel a little tingly?

Kenyan running has no credibility at all now. This parade of doping busts shows their participation to be a farce.

Your posts have no credibility at all now. This parade of doping busts shows that many are willing to cheat in order to have a better life and feed their families. I don't condone doping at all but, unlike you, talking from your privileged life, I can understand why they do it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0ej5k_SxUsIf you watch that video you will see why so many will cheat. Money. Not money to buy a mansion and fancy cars. Money to eat. Money to not have to work from sunrise to sunset. Money for their children to have a better life.
You guys obviously don't know what it's like to be poor, to be hungry.
You and Coevett should worry more about countries that have been coming up with incredible results lately and where no one is being caught. That's where the major doping problems are.
Unlike the two of you, I have been involved with elite athletics and I know several cases of people who have doped and haven't been caught, or who were caught after years of doping.
I know you all hate Kenya because for decades their athletes have been dominating distance running but one thing you cannot deny is that they are catching dopers left and right in the last two or three years.
I have had disappointment after disappointment with Kenyans being caught after having enjoyed their great performances. The likes of Daniel Wanjiru, Wilson Kipsang or Abraham Kiptum. But after the initial disappointment I am genuinely happy they have been caught.
If any of you calls me a doping apologist, like you normally do, then you haven't read my post in its entirety, or your reading comprehension is very poor.
In the meantime, two more doped athletes are out of competition and that is a good thing from the sport's perspective.
I’m English.
In the exact period the Russians were implicated for a state sponsored doping programme the GB team caught them up (2008) and surpassed them (2012) in the medal table.
It's time to put Cleveland State on probation again.
What is curious about these doping incidents is that most of those Kenyans that are caught are not the best Kenyans and most of them are at the tail end of their careers (like the 36-year-old former third-placer in the Hamburg Marathon) or division 2 type Kenyans.
This means, that despite being tested, left right and center, the top athletes like Kamworor, Kandie and co. are clean as whistles one would think. This means that the vast majority of top Kenyans are in fact clean and can go to bed at night knowing that they have not cheated in any shape or form.
Just like the hysteria with regard to COVID-19, the hype surrounding the few cases of Kenyans who have been caught, is over the top and not deserved.
C'mon man, some of what you say is plain ridiculous.
It's just objectively not true that 'the vast majority of top Kenyans are clean as a whistle'.
A significant percentage of elite Kenyans have been banned, including Olympic champions and former world record holders. Two of the top 3 1500m Kenyans bow banned. The former half marathon and full marathon world record holders banned. Five out of the top 11 Kenyan 800m runners from 2017 banned. Even the top Kenyan 400m runner banned.
A sensible and objective person would conclude at this point that a small minority of the top Kenyans are clean, if any.

So the German documentary that exposed Russian doping was engineered to help the Brits? And millions of pounds of lottery money going into funding young British athletes in preparation for their home Olympics wasn't the explanation?
Ghost1, you are hilarious. Of course many caught are not the best - a simple question of statistics, given that there are a lot more 2:08 than 2:04 marathoners.
As for the top top Kenyans, the following have been banned (the latest provisionally for now) for various doping infractions:
Kiprop - Olympic champion
Manangoi - World champion
Kipsang - marathon world record
Kiptum - half marathon world record
Sumgong - Olympic champion
Jeptoo - multiple marathon majors winner
...
Hard to imagine athletes more at the top than those^.
Plus the doping Kenyans who turned Bahraini.
Plus many who'd be stars in other countries, e.g. World medal winners, Athens, Milan, Rotterdam and Venice marathon winners etc. etc.

Spot on - that should put these pathetic Kenyan doping apologists back in their hole. I'm fed up with the constant empathy given to these Kenyan dopers by some of these posters. Now we're supposed to feel sorry for these Kenyans and the country in general because they're so poor and need money to feed their families. Lol.
Kenya is a doping powerhouse - no different than Morocco or Russia or Ukraine. They're phonies that have benefited from doping over the decades just like the aforementioned nations. I don't trust many of their results anymore - everything is suspicious with that nation, IMO.
They should be banned just like Russia is!
Now that's telling it like it is wrote:

As expected, a low IQ person chimes in completely distorting my words.
Have fun being an idiot. I wouldn't be surprised if you dope yourself but are butthurt because you're still slow.
Whistles are not that clean. Your mouth is actually one of the dirtiest parts of your body.
