As long as we are asking for proof of Soles’ racism, as we should, I would like proof of Soles’ family being threatened as well.

he seems to get mainly strong support on those tweets. only one person being wet who was instantly and effectively challenged.
written by the bloke rojo just mentioned;
Editor's note: In nearly two decades of our journalistic interactions with Doug Soles across various settings, our ethnically diverse coverage team has never encountered any incident that demonstrated any form of racism nor ethnic discrimination by him.
This is looking like a stitch up. One way or the other, someone or somepeople need to get in trouble for this.
I am instantly suspicious when he is allowed to work out to the end of the season - if there was anything genuine then they would want him out asap.
I'd like some proof that there are Trump supporters who aren't at least a little bit racist.

He is moving because he is being threatened by a parent who has actually posted photos of his family via social media and asked BLM to to “watch” him; clearly a threat. He no longer feels safe and it it falls on an ex coach not getting his way and then gathering support from a very connected hater dad.
Basically two disgruntled, weak, scared little dads have ruined this man’s life.
Cowards!
Where is this? Just want to see proof of someone posting pictures and asking BLM (?) to watch them. My skepticism is because it doesn’t really make sense, but people post things that don’t make sense all the time.
The guy is a tool. Never ran a step in his life.
This is an extremely silly Tweet. Kids don't get to move high schools just because they don't agree with the coach. That's not how high school or high school sports work.
Messed up situation all around.
Don’t know the coach or program but no one should be solely defended based on success. Salazar was “successful.” Championships should never be part of the equation.
Many athletes cannot take the hard line it takes to be successful. In any sport the constant drive and push snd controlling nature is what makes a championship team. It is also what gets you in trouble.
This is why sports have no place in public schools and should all be club. Then kids can pay money and train and compete for who they want. Why is it suddenly the schools responsibility from grades 9-12?
Coaching isn’t worth it today. It’s not if stuff like this happens but when. While I see the arrogance in “kids thought I was leaving for college for years” statement if anyone threatened myself or my family I’d step down. It’s not worth it.
All school districts are fearful of lawsuits and don’t care about you or how successful you are. Best of luck to all involved.
Something isn't adding up here...administration has his back, most parents have his back, most of his former runners have his back and he decides to quit because of (apparently) baseless claims against him? I can't imagine someone of his influence would quit a job at the pinnacle of high school track just because some parents were accusing him of being racist? There has to be something else going on because that doesn't add up.
Yeah. I keep looking as well... but there don’t seem to be.
You can't be a Trump-supporting coach in a school as racially diverse as Great Oak. Good riddance. In case you weren't paying attention, Trump wasn't a supporter of the darker shade skin color.

Exactly. Very fishy business.
That said though, Soles single handedly make that program great. Unfortunate the program will die this way.
There's less accountability and more abuse in club sports than school sports. The coaching might be better but not the standards.
No to make this political, but First SteppOpportunity zones, lowest black and Hispanic unemployment levels in the history of the US, more money for HBCU than ever. But, yeah, keep up with the anti-Trump narrative.
I’m out right now but will screenshot his Facebook comment when I get back to my laptop.
The same is true for private schools but people still play plenty for those.
I always thought places outside the Bay Area and LA is basically Texas. Isn’t Riverside a “Red” county?
Why do You Capitalize so many Words?
Riverside might be slightly red but Temecula is a lot more well off and less rural than most of the county. It's definitely a "blue" city.

But considering the rest of your rant, it's not surprising that you also got *this* wrong.
Temecula is blue much like Keanu Reeves is considered a great actor.
