Don't misunderstand me. I'm not saying the game will be a blowout.
I'm just doing some research on the game in case i want to bet it. Knowing they played in the regular season, I decided to find the highlights on youtube. I was STUNNED by what I saw.
For those of you thinking, "Oh the Super Bowl is bound to be close, the first time they played it was 27 to 24", you n need to watch the highlights. The Chiefs got up 17 to 0 is the first quarter. It EASILY could have been 28 to 0. They were up 17 to 0 and that includes them kicking a field goal on the 1 yard line instead of going for it and also fumbling on the Tampa 8 yard line.
Tyreek Hill had over 200 yards receiving in the 1st quarter.
If you watch the first half highlights, it looks like a HS team versus a college team.
So why is the line for theSuper Bowl just 3?
I guess there are several ways to think about it.
1) People backing Tampa will say, For the rest of the game, Tampa outscored KC 24 to 10.
Yes that's true. But what I'm asking you is. Did Tampa figure KC out? Did they change things schematically or was , was KC just bored and going through the motions? If you watched the game, let me know your thoughts.
When the playoffs started, many were saying KC was vulnerable h as they weren't blowing out teams. It now looks like they were just bored and going all out. Was that the case for the last 3 quarters against Tampa?
2) What key players are playing/not playing. I know KC's left tackle is now out. H as anyone else been added/ subtracted since week 12.
In conclusion, I guess what I'm asking is, "Why will the Super Bowl be much different than the first 20 minutes when they met in November?
