We could potentially see three teams put 2 guys in the top 10. NAU BYU and Tulsa

I agree. Make these courses more challenging. Like the 1978 NCAA cross country championships won by Salazar in Wisconsin
Agree with what? The Tallahassee course is no walk in the park.
Or a course like World Cross Country 2019
One spot automatically goes to ISU. That only leaves three. If Kemboi runs, he has to one of the favorites. He finished 7th and 8th at the past two championships and he is the 2nd returner.
Is Dudek in the hunt for an individual title?

I don't see her beating Whitney Orton in either a fast race, or a slow, kicker race, so no, I don't think so.
This was a great time for Kiptoo on what I believe to be a tough course. There are pretty big and steep hills in that area of Tallahassee. But the times overall are very fast, so maybe it's not as tough as I thought or maybe COVID training conditions with limited racing is really good for a lot of people. I had the sense with several results, not to name names, that maybe they were returning from injuries or had been sick and aren't at full strength. Overall, though, I don't give nationals to Kiptoo just because of this performance, because the field wasn't as strong up top as the BYU-NAU race.
Re FSU’s course:
I think it is pretty fast... there’s basically one short & steep hill (you do it 2 or 3 times in the 8k course configuration) followed by a long gradual down hill.
Not too many turns, pretty wide open & good footing (quite a bit of the course is hard packed ~oyster shell/limestone gravel) .
Regarding the course record going down, I’d say the weather is also a big factor. Their Invitational is typically scheduled in the fall when things are atrocious... at ACC time the weather can be hit or miss.
